Fausto Sarli was one of the best couturier in Rome. He passed away in 2010. Originally from Naples he had clients in United States, Japan, Middle East and Canada. The Napolitan museum of fabrics, Fondazione Mondragone, is now showing until the 15th of June, fifty dresses from the Maestro. The Museum is in piazzetta Mondragone 18. About one hour by train from Rome. The purpose of this lovely couture exhibition is not only to remember his work but also to promote artisan and tailoring to the young generation. In Rome the atelier is still working and it is in via Gregoriana 41. In the picture the famous model Mariacarla Boscono, a muse of Fausto Sarli who dressed Mina, Carla Fracci, Valeria Mazza and many others.
