One of the highligths of Rome Fashion Week was the Haute Couture défilé of Gattinoni. One of the few shows that were released in the international press as Stefano Dominella (CEO of the brand) explained on the italian TV (Rai 2), just two days ago. The défilé took place at the Nuvola (the Cloud), the new Conference Centre in EUR designed by the architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas. An amazing place that will opened in the next monthes (hopefully). Let's talk now about the dresses by Guillermo Mariotto, the creative director of Gattinoni. The fil rouge was lightness, transparency and grace. No doubt we were in a Cloud! I saw lots of veils, organza and tulle. Dresses were white, light green and blue chesterfield. Most of them in pure linen with embroidery. Nice accessories such as headwear and amazing sculpture-jewelry designed by Gianni de Benedettis. Gattinoni atelier is in via Sardegna.
