In Rome, a great exhibition in the Museum of Ara Pacis. Up to January 25th, 500 pieces of art : photos, drawings, paintings, films and documents from the great french photographer Henri Cartier Bresson (1908-2004). The exhibition, ten years after his death, comes from the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the curator Clément Cheroux is an historian, specialised in photography. Three periods are examined: the Surrealist era (1926-1935), the political engagement and the war ( 1936-1946)and finally the creation of Magnum agency up to to end of his professional activity (1947-1970).
