Step by step shopping in Piazza di Spagna

One of the most gorgeous square in Rome. An ideal place for shopping is Piazza di Spagna. It owes its name to the Palazzo di Spagna, seat of the Embassy of Spain among the Holy See. Nearby is the famous Column dedicated to the Immaculate Conception blessed to the Virgin Mary. Every December 8th the Pope comes here to pray.

I often go there because of the variety of boutiques you can find there. From the small and traditional one, such as Sermoneta for gloves to the big boutique of Valentino, inaugurated few years ago with an amazing fashion show. It is also possible to get a tea and fantastic cakes in Babington’s, one of the last authentic tea rooms in the Eternal city.

In piazza di Spagna you find also Moncler, Longchamp, Furla and Nespresso if you need your coffee capsules. Even the pharmacy is nice. In front of the Barcaccia fountain you can find Dior on the corner with via Condotti.

Don’t miss the chance to go with us on www.grandtourshopping.com for a fantastic Christmas and New Year’s Eve moment. We are free this week , the 27th and 28th of December. We are waiting for you

Choosing the best shops in via del Corso

It is not so easy to decide where to shop in Rome in via del Corso. Personally I like the central part of the avenue. For security reasons, the street is pedestrian and often blocked with tanks from Piazza Venezia towards via del Corso.

As said the best shops, in my opinion are in the middle. For lingerie you can find Calzedonia, Golden Point, very close one to another. Further down, if you could not find your underwear you can try in Yamamay, Intimissimi and Tezenis.

For fashion in via del Corso you have two big stores of Zara and H&M. A smaller one but with a good selection is Mango. If you want the italian brands you can try for example Luisa Spagnoli. It has a complete restyle and is performing quite well, also because Kate Middleton is wearing some models from time to time. In via del Corso there are other italian fashion brands that I like and that are not too expensive such as Liu Jo. For shoes I love Carmen with fantastic ankle boots.

But I don’t want to reveal all my secrets addresses. You should book as soon as possible a shopping tour with us. Hurry up, Christmas is coming!

THE QUEEN OF SHOPPING IN ROME IS VIA CONDOTTI

Probably one of the most famous streets in the world, via Condotti is a great solution if you have few minutes for shopping. Of course Bulgari but also other boutiques where you will not necessarly spend a lot of money such as Max Mara or sweaters in wool and cashmere at reasonable prices in Falconeri. You can shop also in trendy boutiques such as Prada, Moncler and Gucci.

Lovers of italian men fashion will be delighted in Battistoni and can have a nice break at Caffé Greco, the oldest bar in town where Goethe, Lord Byron, Stendhal and Buffalo Bill used to come.

The perspective of the street is wonderful because it opens on the Spanish steps. It is a pedestrian street where you can easily walk. About a couple of month ago, we had a disabled client and via Condotti is one of the few streets perfectly adapted for the lady we were taking care of.

Christmas shopping in via Condotti is a dream. We suggest you to book us as soon as possible for fantastic bargains. www.grandtourshopping.com
