THE QUEEN OF SHOPPING IN ROME IS VIA CONDOTTI

Probably one of the most famous streets in the world, via Condotti is a great solution if you have few minutes for shopping. Of course Bulgari but also other boutiques where you will not necessarly spend a lot of money such as Max Mara or sweaters in wool and cashmere at reasonable prices in Falconeri. You can shop also in trendy boutiques such as Prada, Moncler and Gucci.

Lovers of italian men fashion will be delighted in Battistoni and can have a nice break at Caffé Greco, the oldest bar in town where Goethe, Lord Byron, Stendhal and Buffalo Bill used to come.

The perspective of the street is wonderful because it opens on the Spanish steps. It is a pedestrian street where you can easily walk. About a couple of month ago, we had a disabled client and via Condotti is one of the few streets perfectly adapted for the lady we were taking care of.

Christmas shopping in via Condotti is a dream. We suggest you to book us as soon as possible for fantastic bargains. www.grandtourshopping.com

SHOPPING IN ROME WALKING THROUGH PIAZZA SAN LORENZO IN LUCINA

In these days of the Black Friday weekend, it is nice to walk through Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. I love this square for different reasons: it is pedestrian, there are great beautiful stores and one of my favourite bar in town: Ciampini. The ice cream there is one of the best. Plus they won the award for an extremely good clubsandwich. I often bumped into friends over there.

There are in piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, some of the most important brands of the world. In front of Ciampini, you have Saint Laurent (now designed by Anthony Vaccarello) with leather jackets and small black bags that an american client bought few weeks ago. Next to it, Bottega Veneta with the best evening clutches in the fashion system. On the same side of the street Car shoe for mocassins. In front of it three masterpieces : Pomellato for jewels ( have a look at their rings and chains), Casadei for evening and elegant shoes. Last but not least, Louis Vuitton. One of the biggest store in Europe, the Louis Vuitton boutique used to be a movie theatre called Etoile. It opens few years ago. The architect is an american legend, Peter Marino.

In order to discover the secrets of this square, you should book a tour with us www.grandtourshopping.com before Christmas. We will have a dedicated tour and, by the way, a fantastic experience.

A GREAT STREET FOR SHOPPING IN ROME : VIA BORGOGNONA

One of the best street in Rome for shopping is via Borgognona. It is a pedestrian street, no cars at all. It is not too crowded because often people prefer via del Corso which is more commercial. In Via Borgognona a lot of elegant boutiques but also some affordable ones. You can find hip and cool stores such as Stella Mc Cartney, SportMax, Les Copains, Brunello Cucinelli.

When I talk about affordable boutiques, I speak about Cos and Other Stories where you can find skirts, blazers, coats but also dresses and shoes. In Other Stories, for example, a great selection of Adidas Sneakers. It is also the street of a great historical italian restaurant : NINO where you can get fantastic pasta and vegetables cooked roman style..

Don’t forget to book as soon as possible for a great shopping tour in Rome with www.grandtourshopping.com We can help you for Christmas presents.
